Per New Jersey.com, the New York Giants are likely interested in signing Nick Foles. Per their source, Foles will be one of their targets if they end up moving on from Eli Manning. The interest is mutual.

The Giants 2018 campaign was very disappointing. They went 5-11 and finished last in the NFC East. Manning threw for 4,299 yards with 21 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. His completion percentage sat at 66.0 percent and his quarterback rating sat at a low 51.2 percent. He's regressed a lot over the past few years, and the Giants will probably start looking for his replacement.

The Giants have been linked to some of the rookies coming out of this draft. Kyler Murray of Oklahoma, Dwayne Haskins of Ohio State, and Daniel Jones of Duke are all expected to go in the first round. A lot of analysts have them taking Haskins with the 6th overall pick.

However, Foles could be a short-term solution even if they draft a quarterback. He would provide an immediate answer to their struggles under center.

Foles had a $20 million player option that the Eagles decided to non-tender. He's now an unrestricted free agent. He probably won't garner 20+ million, though he will likely want a long term contract in nine figures.

In the five games he started in the regular season, Foles had a record of 4-1. He threw for 1,413 yards with seven touchdowns and only four interceptions. His completion percentage was a very high 72.3 percent while his quarterback rating was a solid 69.5. He pulled the Eagles back into playoff contention.
