Odell Beckham Jr. has been frustrated with Eli Manning for weeks but now it appears Pat Shurmur is getting frustrated with Manning for not throwing to the New York Giants star wide receiver.

In a crucial 4th down play in the 3rd quarter, Manning decided not to throw to Beckham who appeared to be open and would have given the Giants a touchdown. The ESPN cameras caught Shurmur on the sideline clearly frustrated asking why Manning didn't throw to Odell.

In the picture below it's pretty clear that Odell Beckham Jr. has a step on his defender and most NFL quarterbacks would be comfortable making that throw, and it was almost guaranteed to end in a touchdown. Beckham Jr. was the number one target on the play but Eli Manning went through all of his reads and it ended in an incomplete pass.

The Giants lost by only three points and this play could have been the difference in the game. This just seems to be another play in a long list of questionable decisions by Manning all season. Late in the game with the Giants needed 11 points Manning ran back to back quarterback sneaks that didn't work and took a lot of valuable time off the clock.

By the time the Giants did the onside kick they had less than 10 seconds left and even if they would have recovered it, they would have just had to go for the hail Mary instead of trying to work it into field goal range.

There is already all kinds of hate coming towards Eli Manning, and his play on Monday night isn't going to answer any questions. Pat Shurmur will have to make some serious decisions about the future of the franchise pretty soon.
