The New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys battled it out for a chance to win the NFC East, only for the game to end in the most NFC East way possible.

While trying to seal the game on the final drive, Wayne Gallman recovered his own fumble while on his backside to defeat the Cowboys.

The video of Gallman fumbling the ball and somehow recovering it is still mind-boggling when watching it. Even though there was a slew of Cowboys players around the ball, it was the Giants rusher who was able to get possession of the ball to end the game.

With under two minutes remaining in the game, the Cowboys had possession of the ball and a chance to take the lead. However, while needing a touchdown with the score being 23-19, Andy Dalton would throw a costly interception that seemingly cost Dallas the game.

But on the ensuing drive, it appeared that Gallman was about to cough up the game for the Giants by fumbling the ball. Luckily for Gallman, he had enough time to secure the ball before a defender could pry it away from him.

Given their win over the Cowboys, the Giants are still in the hunt to win the NFC East. For New York to win the division, they'll need the Washington Football Team to lose to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football.

The Giants jumped out to a double-digit lead in the first half of Sunday's game and Gallman's fumble almost gave the Cowboys one more chance. But Gallman realized that he didn't want to be mentioned in the same breath as Mark Sanchez.
