The Minnesota Timberwolves may have bitten off more than they can chew on Thursday night as they allowed the Memphis Grizzlies to come all the way back from 26 points down to steal away Game 3 of their first-round matchup, 104-95. Desmond Bane was the star of the show for Memphis, and the 23-year-old made history on a night that will be remembered for a very long time.

Bane just shattered the Grizzlies franchise record for most 3-pointers in a playoff game after he went 7-of-15 to torch a hapless Timberwolves side (h/t StatMuse on Twitter):

Ja Morant did not have his best game for the Grizzlies in this one and someone had to step up in his stead. Bane answered the call as he dropped a game-high 26 points on 8-of-19 from the floor. Along with seven triples, the 6-foot-5 shooting guard also logged six rebounds, two assists, a steal, two blocks, and just one turnover in 40 minutes of action.

After dropping Game 1, the Grizzlies are now 2-1 up in the series and there's no doubt that momentum is on their side after stealing away Game 3 in Minnesota's own home court.
