The Memphis Grizzlies are officially out of the playoffs, but for Ja Morant, it is only the start of something bigger and better.

After the Utah Jazz sent the Grizzlies packing on Wednesday, Morant took to Twitter to remind everyone that it's only his second year in the NBA. He also hinted of major improvements for the 2021-22 season as he told his followers to wait for what's to come in Year 3.

Ja Morant and the Grizzlies can certainly hold their head high despite their early postseason exit. After all, only a few people really believed they can make it to the playoffs in a tough Western Conference where the Top 10 teams are all talented and considered powerhouses.

Moreover, it is not luck that powered Memphis to the postseason. They had to beat a veteran San Antonio Spurs team in their first play-in game before taking on the Stephen curry-led Golden State Warriors for the final playoff spot.

They have proven they are among the West's elites, and with such a young core composed of Morant, Jaren Jackson Jr., Dillon Brooks and more, they should become playoff staples over the next several years.

After winning Rookie of the Year in 2020, Morant has undoubtedly taken a major leap in his second season. With the way he developed, there is reason to be excited about what he can do after another year of NBA experience under his belt.
