Memphis Grizzlies All-Star big man Marc Gasol's ankle issue is reportedly no big deal, according to Chris Herrington of The Daily Memphian.

Grizzlies head coach J.B. Bickerstaff told reporters after Tuesday's game that Marc Gasol was being examined for an apparent foot/ankle issue that limited him in the final minutes against the Toronto Raptors.

Gasol played 39 minutes versus Toronto and finished with 27 points and four rebounds in the defeat while shooting 10-of-14 from the field and 4-of-6 from the 3-point line.

This is really good news. Marc Gasol had surgery to repair a non-displaced Type II fracture of the navicular bone in his right foot back in 2016, so there was some concern in Memphis when news broke that Gasol was getting tests done.

On the season, Marc Gasol is averaging 18.5 points, 9.4 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game. The former Defensive Player of the Year is shooting 47.4 percent from the floor, 41.3 percent from beyond the arc and 73.3 percent from the free-throw line.

The Grizzlies have lost three games in a row after winning five-straight. Memphis takes on the Brooklyn Nets on Friday and is 12-8 on the season. Gasol should be in the lineup against the Nets considering they have a few days off.
