Memphis Grizzlies rookie Ja Morant is missing the feeling of playing in an NBA arena. In fact, the former Murray State standout misses it so much that he decided to do his own intro video from the confines of his home, and posted it on TikTok.

Morant, who is graces the cover of a recent issue of SLAM, is enjoying a fantastic rookie campaign. However, with sporting leagues around the globe shutting down due to coronavirus, it might be a while before he can finish it.

The NBA decided to suspend the 2019-20 regular season last week after players in the league started contracting the virus. Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert was the first confirmed case. His teammate, Donovan Mitchell tested positive soon after. At this point, it's not clear when play might resume.

As of today, the Grizzles are holding a 32-33 overall record, which is good for the No. 8 seed in the playoffs. Hopefully, the regular season will resume at some point. If it doesn't, though, the NBA could jump straight into the playoffs, which would mean Memphis is in.

Morant has proven himself in a relatively short period of time. In his 59 appearances with the Grizzlies thus far, he's racked up averages of 17.6 points on 49.1 percent shooting from the field (36.7 percent from beyond the arc), 6.9 assists, 3.5 rebounds and just under one steal (0.9) in 30.0 minutes per outing.

Hopefully, Morant and the Grizzlies will be back in action sooner rather than later.
