Lou Williams drops massive hint on future with Hawks
Of course nothing is set in stone yet as the contract and money should work for both sides. While the Hawks will likely consider bringing back Lou Will after what he has shown in the postseason, it is still unknown how much he’ll ask and if the team can match it, especially with John Collins’ deal being the team’s priority.
However, if it’s up to Williams alone, he loved is time in Atlanta and would want to run it back. He also shared in an Instagram post how his trade to the Hawks in the middle of the regular season is a “blessing in disguise.”

Lou Williams’ made $8 million annually in the three-year, $24 million deal he signed with the Los Angeles Clippers in 2018. And as he is turning 35 next season, he is expected to search for a contract that would get him the most money.
Nonetheless, if the Hawks are capable of bringing him back, it will definitely be a huge boost to the team. His playoffs experience and leadership is valuable to the team, as he has proven against the Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference Finals. He can still score, and Atlanta will need that bench scoring as they aim to replicate their success in 2021-22.
