By this time, the impact of having Rajon Rondo on an NBA roster is undeniable. The new Atlanta Hawks point guard has blessed multiple teams with his court savvy and experience that have created success for Rondo's teams. Earlier in his career, he won his first title with the Boston Celtics and last season, his partnership with LeBron James with the Los Angeles Lakers helped the Lakers win the 2020 NBA title. James' fourth ring and Rondo's second.

This team-up is absolutely any coach's dream as both LeBron James and Rajon Rondo have been known to be the best court generals in the NBA.

Recently, Rajon Rondo spent time with the folks at All The Smoke to discuss what it was like to play with one of the greatest talents of this generation.

“It was a hell of an experience,” Rajon Rondo said on playing with James (via Showtime). “I was learning, on the fly and on the court. Picking his brains, studying his body at work, the way he moves. To be able to play with him and pick his brains daily and understand his discipline on what he's done to be able to become so dominant on year 17 it was fun to watch. It was great to be next to and understand that this is elite. I've played with so many elite players at a high level, I would say more than 15 first-ballot Hall of Famers. So to see the best of the best, it was a hell of a ride these past couple of years of just watching him.”

It's not everyday you get to share the court with a superstar like LeBron James and Rajon Rondo was humble enough to take it all in and still be able to learn so much from him even on his 14th year in the league. He's looking to bring all this championship experience as he leads a young Hawks team to hopefully make their first trip back to the postseason since 2017.
