The Atlanta Hawks have floundered to the worst record in the league through the first 30 games of the season.

This has pushed the front office to consider possibly moving some of their key players in order to shake things up. According to Steve Kyler of Basketball Insiders, the Hawks are reportedly intrigued about trading veteran forward Kent Bazemore for the right price.

Bazemore is experiencing one of his most productive campaigns averaging 12.6 points on 40.2 percent shooting from the field and 36.6 percent from three-point range along with 4.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.9 steals. Beyond that, he has proven to be a reliable contributor for the Hawks throughout his tenure

However, the high asking price of a first-round pick may put a halt on possible trade talk concerning the 28-year-old. Bazemore could be a valuable piece to the puzzle for an NBA team, but there haven't exactly been many teams clamoring for his services.

What may make it difficult in working out a trade is that he is in the second year of his four-year, $70 million deal that includes a player option worth $19.3 million for the 2019-20 season. With the trade deadline just over a month away, things could heat up on this front in the coming weeks.
