The ability to recruit someone is a skill that comes in handy when you're an NBA player. Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks is already working on his recruiting skills as the rookie point guard recently took to Twitter to call out Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James and entice him to take his talents to Atlanta.

It's hard to fault Young for trying. He's a precocious rookie who is doing his best to improve his team before he even plays his first game. Unfortunately for Young and Hawks fans everywhere, this is nothing more than a funny tweet. There is no chance that LeBron decides to pack up and head south for Atlanta.

Atlanta is a rebuilding team and LeBron is probably looking for somewhere he can compete with the Golden State Warriors. Atlanta is certainly not the place.

To be clear, if James went to Atlanta, the Hawks would instantly become one of the favorites in the Eastern Conference. But that has less to do with Atlanta's roster and more to do with the fact that LeBron consistently wills his team to the finals year in and year out.

It seems like everyone in the league is trying to recruit James to their squad while fans are simultaneously scouring the internet for any hint as to where the 14-time All-Star may be headed.

For now, Trae Young's recruiting efforts will fall on deaf ears. But in the future, he may be able to utilize some of his recruiting skills to convince someone to come join him in the ATL.
