Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young is having the time of his life in his first-ever NBA All-Star game at the United Center on Sunday.
The 21-year-old sensation showcased his limitless range right before the halftime horn sounded, drilling a cold-blooded heave from the logo as time expired.
With 2.8 ticks remaining before the break, the Hawks sophomore caught a pass from Rudy Gobert and got himself set at center court. Young's teammates knew his shot was cash money, as they already had their hands up even before his shot hit nothing but nylon.
Young was quickly mobbed by the red shirts soon after, as Team Giannis bounced back from losing the first quarter and had a 51-30 lead in the second.
Although the Hawks are the third-worst team in the standings right now, Young has had a phenomenal season after finishing runner-up in last year's Rookie of the Year race. He is averaging 29.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, 9.2 assists, and 1.2 steals in 50 games while knocking down 44.3 percent of his field goals and 36.9 percent of his trey.
