Vince Carter is 41-years-old, but he is still playing at a high level. He is also putting posters on some of the league's young players. During the closing moments of the Atlanta Hawks-Los Angeles Lakers game Sunday night, Carter dunked all over Josh Hart.

This dunk would give the Hawks a late lead, but the Lakers, in the end, defeated the Hawks 107-106.

For Vince Carter to still be doing this at his age speaks a lot about the veteran guard's discipline to his craft and how he takes care of his body. Carter signed with the Hawks over the summer to bring leadership to a young, rebuilding team. However, he has contributed in tangible ways this season and this huge dunk late in the game over Hart proves Carter still has a lot left in the tank.

A lot of teams looking at Carter flourishing with this young team right now are probably thinking they should have signed him. Vince Carter is one of those must-have veterans on any team because he helps in so many ways that extends beyond the hardwood.

Vince Carter was averaging 7.0 points, 2.1 rebounds, 1.0 assists, and 0.8 steals per game prior to Sunday night's contest. As the season goes along, it will be interesting to see if Carter can continue to be a contributor to the team even during late-game situations.
