A fan made an NBA 2k mixtape featuring Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade and his son Zaire. It has gone viral and left fans salivating over the possibilities between a father-and-son team up.

Below is the clip as posted by Twitter user @Shady00018:

Will Zaire, 16 years old, reach the NBA before his dad, 36, hangs up his jersey for good? There's a slim chance but there's nothing wrong with thinking of the possibilities.

The younger Wade showcased his skills in front of his dad against NBA players recently. Just like his dad, he plays the guard position very well. There's no question that he got his basketball genes from his superstar old man. One can just imagine the two battling it out in their backyard with the older Wade whispering some tips and tricks.

The mixtape has reached Wade himself. He retweeted it recently together with his reaction:

The NBA has seen a lot of second-generation players. But no father-and-son tandem has played with or against each other in history. Perhaps the closest is head coach Doc Rivers and his son Austin with the L.A. Clippers.

Wade is closing in on 40 years old which puts him in retirement range. His best friend LeBron James, at 33 years old, is well within his prime and is not slowing down any time soon. Will he and Bronny Jr. be the first father-and-son tandem to play in the NBA?
