Before the NBA suspended the 2019-20 season, Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade was enjoying watching rookies Ja Morant, Zion Williamson and Coby White play.

The Heat icon believes the future of the NBA is in good hands with these three youngsters leading the way:

The Heat have a really good rookie in Tyler Herro as well. All in all, the 2019 NBA rookie class looks like it's going to be a good one when we look back on the draft 10 years from now.

For the Memphis Grizzlies, Morant was putting up 17.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 6.9 assists before the shutdown. He was also shooting 49.1 percent from the field, 36.7 percent from beyond the arc and 77.0 percent from the free-throw line.

The Grizzlies were in the eighth spot in the Western Conference standings before the coronavirus pandemic forced the NBA to suspend play. Ja led Memphis to a record of 32-33.

Williamson missed the beginning of his NBA career with the New Orleans Pelicans after undergoing left knee surgery. However, since making his debut, Williamson has been nothing short of spectacular. The No. 1 overall pick was averaging 23.6 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 29.7 minutes per contest.

Finally for the Chicago Bulls, White played in every single game for Chicago before play was suspended. The speedster was averaging 13.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists. He started against the Cleveland Cavaliers for his first NBA start in the Bulls' most recent game game. He finished with 20 points and five assists, but the rookie also had nine turnovers.

If the season does resume, Morant will most likely win Rookie of the Year.
