Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra couldn't hide his shock after learning that Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies beat the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 5 of their playoff series.
The Timberwolves were up by 11 entering the fourth quarter, and so even though Spoelstra saw that incredible Morant dunk in the penultimate period, he expected Minnesota to hold on and get the 3-2 lead.

During his postgame presser after they knocked out the Atlanta Hawks, however, Coach Spo was informed that the Grizzlies won via a last-second layup from Morant. Much like the rest of the NBA, the Heat tactician couldn't believe it.

We can't blame Erik Spoelstra for such reaction. Hey, even Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James was almost speechless after witnessing Ja Morant's heroics for the Grizzlies to give them the 3-2 lead.
While the Grizzlies struggled against the Timberwolves in Game 5, they showed them why they are the no. 2 seed in the West. They simply wanted it more and used that hunger to fuel them. Minnesota was up by 13 with nine minutes to go in the fourth quarter, but Morant was unstoppable and scored 18 of his 30 in the period–including the team's final 13 points.
Luckily for Spoesltra, the Heat are in a different conference. With that said, the only way they'll meet the Grizzlies is if they both make the NBA Finals.
