The Miami Heat have finally gotten some good news as Jimmy Butler plans to return to action on Sunday. Butler has not played since December 6th and only once since November 27th. He has been out with a tailbone injury and will look to get the Heat back on track to what they were doing before they were hit with some unfortunate injuries.
Jimmy Butler was playing some great basketball for the Heat before he went down with his injury. In his short season, he was averaging 22.8 points per game with 5.8 rebounds and was a big reason why the Heat found as much success as they did early in the season.
If Miami wants to have any success this season, they're going to need all of their guys healthy. They do have a good enough team to compete with some of the other top teams in the Eastern Conference such as the Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets, but even just one injury to any of their key guys is going to cause them to probably lose to these teams in just five or six games. They don't necessarily have the same star power as the other top teams in the Eastern Conference so they're going to need all their stars and key role players healthy come playoff time.
The Heat are going to be taking on the Orlando Magic on Sunday in a game that they should walk away with an easy win.
