Kyle Lowry has yet to feature for the Miami Heat this month as he's been away from the team due to personal reasons, but his status received a significant update ahead of Monday's clash against the Houston Rockets. The team's Twitter account revealed Monday that Lowry had been upgraded to questionable for the game against his former squad, indicating he's at the very least, close to a return to action.

Lowry had initially been listed as Out for the game, so to even have him considered questionable is an improvement on his previous status. Lowry has missed the past four games while he's been away from the team, but he's apparently rejoined the team and has a chance to get some minutes under his belt on Monday evening.

The Heat have gone 3-1 in Lowry's stead, including key wins against the Chicago Bulls, Brooklyn Nets, and Philadelphia 76ers, while losing in a one-point defeat against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Lowry has missed a handful of games this season, including a stretch of nine consecutive absences from late January to early February. In total, he's featured in 48 of the Heat's 65 games this year, averaging 13.4 points, 7.9 assists, and 4.6 rebounds.

If the 35-year-old is unable to take the court on Monday against the Rockets, his next chance to get back into the lineup would come Wednesday in a clash against the Phoenix Suns. The Heat kicked off a seven-game homestand on Saturday and won't travel until their next road game against the Sixers on March 21.
