After the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Miami Heat in Game 2 of the 2020 NBA Finals to take a 2-0 series lead, LeBron James was asked to react to Udonis Haslem's angry rant at Heat players during the third quarter.

James, who won two championships with Haslem on the Heat in 2012 and 2013, isn't surprised the Miami players responded to UD's passionate rant.

“Check his résumé; it’s that simple,” LeBron James said when asked what makes Heat veteran Udonis Haslem so impactful in that role, via Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.

“I mean, he’s put in the work. He’s been there through everything that the Heat franchise has seen. He’s seen it all, done it all. There’s not many guys that talk about it and also be about it, and he’s one of them. If you want to be in the foxhole, that’s somebody you want to be in the foxhole with.”

The Heat started to play much better after Haslem lit into them. Unfortunately, Miami still lost Game 2 by 10 points despite outscoring the Lakers 39-35 in the third quarter.

Heat star small forward Jimmy Butler said maybe Haslem should have called out the team before the third quarter. Whatever the case may be, Miami has to win Game 3, otherwise the series is over.

No team in NBA history has erased a 3-0 deficit in the playoffs.

Game 4 between the Lakers and Heat is set for Sunday. Through the first two games, Miami has had zero answers for LeBron and Anthony Davis. That will have to change in Game 3 if the Heat want to make this a series.
