Dwyane Wade is a Miami Heat legend and has given his best to the franchise that drafted him way back in 2003. It’s no wonder that his heart longs to come back and play for Heat Nation.

Even if Wade didn’t acknowledge it during his time with the Cleveland Cavaliers, his best friend LeBron James knew where his heart truly was. Apparently, Wade loves the Heat to the point that he kept up with the team despite being with the Cavs.

Clay Ferraro of WPLG says that Wade could not deny that James read him correctly.

“Wade conceded that what LeBron said today is true: Wade’s heart and mind was always here in Miami. LeBron would even catch him checking Heat scores.”

James isn’t bitter about his divorce with his buddy Wade. Inasmuch as he enjoys the company, James was happy to see Wade return home to Miami just like he did in the summer of 2014.

When he was interviewed on Friday after the trade, the Cavs superstar shared his thoughts on Wade’s homecoming, via Cleveland.com’s Joe Vardon.

“I'm happy as hell for D-Wade,” James said. “He gets to go back home and that's how it should be. I've always felt like that's where his heart and his mind was and I think it's going to be great for him. I look forward to seeing the footage of him being announced tonight back in Miami.”

“But, obviously, it's always, when it's your brother and you're around him every day and he has to go back … but at the end of the day, it wasn't tough. We're both 15 years in the league. We know how the business is and more importantly, we see each other all the time, anyway. So, get out of here, D-Wade.”

Wade is back with Miami just as James is home in Cleveland.

Everything is right once again in the NBA.
