Miami Heat big man Meyers Leonard, who decided to do a full Dennis Rodman on his hair while locked down in quarantine, just roasted teammate Jimmy Butler for what was supposed to be a thoughtful gesture from the Heat star.

According to earlier reports, Butler gifted his teammates and coaches with their very own basketball hoop. The idea was that it was something to keep them busy and in shape while stuck at home, but as it turns out, the biggest challenge posed by the gift was actually how to set it up.

Leonard shared his thoughts on the gifted hoop on Twitter:

Perhaps that was Butler's plan all along. Maybe he wanted to test his teammates' building acumen, ability to follow instructions, and patience — skills that they could all probably somehow apply to their craft once the season resumes. Then again, perhaps it was just a bad purchase from Butler. Nevertheless, his thoughtfulness and generosity still deserves a nod.

Butler recently shared that he has been keeping himself busy these days by working on his game. So much so, that he has intentionally made a conscious effort to not watch any of “The Last Dance” episodes. Maybe he gifted himself with one of those hoops as well and hasn't been able to figure out how to assemble it.

All jokes aside, though, Butler has been outstanding for the Heat this season, as he has led the team to a respectable spot in the East prior to the season suspension.
