The Miami Heat secured the top seed in the Eastern Conference during the regular season but they fell short in the playoffs, losing in the conference finals to the Boston Celtics. Two players that certainly did their part were P.J. Tucker and Victor Oladipo, with the latter making an impact mostly during the postseason after recovering from a scary injury.

Tucker, who won a title in 2021 with the Milwaukee Bucks, signed a two-year deal with the Heat last summer. On Monday, Pat Riley made it very clear they want to bring the veteran back to the team in 2022-23, while Miami plans to talk to Oladipo's agent to discuss his future.

Via Barry Jackson:

Tucker brought championship experience to the Heat and served as one of their best defenders. The 37-year-old averaged 7.6 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in 70 starts while shooting 41% from downtown. His effort and willingness to compete are unmatched and he's honestly the type of player that Miami loves.

As for Oladipo, he becomes a UFA this summer. While he only played eight games during the season, he did show well at times in the Heat's playoff run, averaging 10.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.1 dimes. The former Pacer isn't likely going to be a starter with Miami but if he's willing to accept a bench role, the Heat could potentially extend him.

Definitely some decisions to make for this organization this offseason.
