At this point, it's hard to argue against the notion that Jimmy Butler has been the best player in the postseason. The Miami Heat are now in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Boston Celtics and are just one step away from reaching the NBA Finals for the second time in three years. There's no denying that Butler has played a major role in his team's success.

ESPN's Stephen A Smith recently revealed the content of a text message he received from Jimmy Butler right after the Heat eliminated the Sixers in the second round. The Miami superstar called Smith out for not believing in him, while also sending a bit of a warning to anybody else who may still have their doubts about him:

“You and everybody else have slept on me. Imma show y'all what I'm about. Imma show y'all what I'm made of,” Butler said in his message to Stephen A.

Miami was considered a dark horse to win it all this season, but it is not as if pundits like Stephen A were constantly talking about their title credentials. Butler has taken note of all this and as he said in his message, he is out to prove all his doubters wrong.
