The Miami Heat will be looking to take one step closer to their objective of winning the NBA championship this season when they take on the Sixers in Game 6 of their second-round series on Thursday. The Heat are 3-2 up in the series and a win will allow them to book their place in the Eastern Conference Finals to face either the defending champs Milwaukee Bucks or a powerhouse Boston Celtics side.
Much like he has been for Miami all season long, Jimmy Butler has been pivotal in his team's success in the Sixers series. As a matter of fact, Butler has been the best player in the entire league in the postseason (h/t StatMuse on Twitter):
Jimmy Butler arguably has been the best player in this playoffs.

The fact that Jimmy Butler isn't even considered a scorer is what makes this stat line even more amazing. With an average of 28.3 points per game, the Heat talisman is third in the league in scoring during the playoffs. He's also been highly efficient, scoring at a 54-percent shooting clip. Butler has also been flexing his elite defense, leading the NBA with 2.2 steals in the postseason.
Needless to say, Jimmy Butler has been playing extremely well of late. Joel Embiid and the Sixers should be wary of this fact and it is clear that they will need to somehow stop Butler if they want to keep this series alive beyond Thursday night.
