Prior to the start of the season, the 13-time all-star announced that this season will be his final year in the NBA. After he broke the news, various players and teams sent Wade heartfelt messages and tributes.
They thanked Wade for his 16 years in the league. Some confessed that Wade was their favorite player growing up. Others reiterated that he's the third greatest shooting guard of all-time, right behind Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan.
It's always nice to see players and teams set aside whatever bitter emotions they have for a certain player. Wherever one looks at it, Dwyane Wade is a legend in the sport. It's only right that people respect and recognize what he's done throughout the course of his career.
