Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges isn't bothered by his contract situation and is only focused on improving his game.

Once the current season ends, Miles Bridges will have to make big decisions about his future with the Hornets. He was reportedly offered a four-year, $60 million contract but could still make more money in restricted free agency.

However, none of it fazes Bridges, who has been very vocal about how he deals with stuff outside basketball–through his “agent.”

“I’m not worried about the money,” Bridges insisted via The Undefeated. “I’m really just worried about playing the right way and winning. I will let my agent worry about all that stuff and just worry about the game.”

Hornets general manager Mitch Kupchak, on the other hand, admitted that the team would fancy keeping a player like Bridges. However, he also bared that they will still have to talk with Bridges' representatives “in the spring”

“We love Miles Bridges,” Kupchak said. “We did have conversations with his representative up until the last minute. The decision was made to wait and see how the season plays out and we’ll approach it again in the spring.”

Until then, Bridges, who registered the best numbers of his NBA career this season with the Hornets–22.5 points, 7.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game, will just continue to work on his game.

“Me trying to make the right play, when to score, when to pass. I feel like I got better at that,” the 23-year-old assessed. “But I can always get better at my defense. My defense and my rebounding gets me going throughout the game. I got to do a better job coming out from the first quarter and getting better from there.”
