Tony Parker of the Charlotte Hornets just logged in 19,000 points, adding yet another accolade to his stellar career.

The NBA congratulated Parker on reaching the milestone via Twitter:

It might still feel strange to see Parker not donning a San Antonio Spurs uniform. After all, he did score a good chunk of those 19,000 points as a member of the Spurs.

Yet be as it may, it's a great achievement for Tony Parker who's not really tagged as an explosive scorer throughout his career. Yet he joins, as of this writing, 59 other players who have reached the 19,000-point mark.

In his impressive career so far, Parker is averaging 15.8 points, 5.7 assists, and 2.8 rebounds per game. He shoots at 49.2 percent from the field as well.

At this point in his career, it seems that the 36-year-old has nothing left to prove. He's won four NBA titles, numerous All-Star and All-NBA selections, and a pretty good international career as well.

It was much of a surprise when Tony Parker decided to leave the Spurs in the summer. Many expected him to retire as a member of the franchise that he became a big part of. But as they say, things happen for a reason. Regardless of where Parker goes, he'll still be regarded as one of basketball's greats.
