With March Madness quickly approaching, The UConn Huskies aim to have one of the best players on the team return to the lineup soon. Currently ranked seventh in the NCAA, UConn is about to become even more dangerous in the most crucial part of the season, as Paige Bueckers will provide a massive boost to their tournament chances.

According to Sports Center, Paige Bueckers will “suit up for their upcoming home game on Friday.” She'll have a chance to get back in the groove before the Women's tournament begins. This is great news for Bueckers and the Huskies, as they aim to keep their place as one of the most dominant sports teams in the NCAA.

It's been a long journey for Paige Bueckers, as she fell to injury back in December. “The sophomore guard underwent surgery Dec. 13 to repair an anterior tibial plateau fracture and lateral meniscus tear,” per ESPN. After warming up with the Huskies during their last game, Bueckers was unable to see any action. Now, she finally returns to the lineup on Friday.

The Huskies are set to take on St. John's, in what should be a fun matchup. St. John isn't ranked in the top 25, but they'll do their best to upset UConn. With Bueckers back in rotation, we should see her get acclimated quickly into her role.

If Bueckers can get back to 100 percent, the Huskies will be a tough team to beat in the upcoming tournament. UConn's women's basketball has been one of the most dominant sports teams in the country. They aim to win another title and Paige Bueckers will be heavily involved in those plans.
