The Golden State Warriors are back in action on Sunday night, facing the Toronto Raptos at Chase Center. The matchup marks the Dubs' sixth of a pivotal seven-game homestand, one that's been disappointing so far amid their 2-3 record and multiple injuries to key contributors. Help is on the way for Golden State, though. Draymond Green was reinstated from his indefinite suspension on Saturday, signaling his imminent return to the floor. But is Draymond Green playing on Sunday against the Raptors?

Draymond Green's status for Warriors-Raptors

Despite his suspension officially coming to an end, Green won't play versus Toronto. He's listed as out on the Warriors' official injury report due to “Return to competition reconditioning,” no surprise after ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski previously reported Green would need “approximately” one week to ramp up before re-taking the floor.

Don't expect the four-time champion to play on Wednesday against the New Orleans Pelicans, the end of Golden State's homestand. He could be back on the floor as soon as Friday's battle with the Chicago Bulls, which marks the beginning of a four-game road trip for the Warriors.

Whenever Green returns, he'll be coming back to a much different team than the one he left on December 12th after striking Phoenix Suns big man Jusuf Nurkic in the face.

Rookies Brandin Podziemski and Trayce Jackson-Davis have cemented themselves as rotation players since then, starting and closing multiple games. Jonathan Kuminga has emerged as a full-time starter, too, while fellow third-year wing Moses Moody was vexingly phased out of the rotation—a development primed to change with Chris Paul and Gary Payton II both sidelined by injury.

The Warriors and Raptors tipoff from Chase Center at 5:30 p.m. (PT).
