Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey visiting back specialist
#Jaguars CB Jalen Ramsey is in Houston this morning to see a back specialist, at the request of the team, for the injury that has kept him out the last two games. The Jags have not considered trade offers over the last week or so, but Ramsey’s request still stands.

The injury has kept him out two weeks, and it makes sense the team would want more information on the back injury, especially with everything that has come up with Ramsey.
Ramsey was in Houston Sunday night with his agent David Mulugheta, and the two hung out with Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson who Mulugheta also represents.
Ramsey has made it clear that he wants to be traded, and according to ESPN, even though they have had plenty of offers, they have no interest in trading him.
So far, the Jaguars have refused to budge, and they continue to insist they will not, according to sources. This stance is driven, most of all, by team owner Shad Khan, who does not want a player dictating to him how to operate the franchise, according to sources. Thus the standoff continues.
According to ESPN’s sources, Ramsey is willing to play for other teams if traded without a long term contract signed, which means his issues with Jaguars go farther than money.
If the Jaguars were willing to deal Ramsey, money would not be an issue, according to league sources. Ramsey would be willing to play for other teams around the league without getting a contract extension.
This feels like a story that isn’t going away anytime soon. Ramsey and the Jaguars have both dug their heels in, and neither side wants to budge.
