Denver Nuggets point guard Jamal Murray, in desperate need of a PS5 since he just got his wisdom teeth removed, used the power of social media to get one.

Max Kerman, the lead singer of the Canadian band Arkells, dropped off a PS5 for Murray since his entire band got one and he didn't need one for himself.

Just another reason why being in the NBA is truly awesome.

Jamal Murray, the second-best player on the Nuggets after All-Star center Nikola Jokic, used his clout on social media to get a PS5 and now he has something to do while he recovers from his dental surgery.

During the 2019-20 season, Murray appeared in 59 games for the Nuggets. He averaged 18.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.8 assists a night while shooting 45.6 percent from the field, 34.6 percent from beyond the arc and 88.1 percent from the free-throw line.

In the 2020 playoffs at Walt Disney World, where the Nuggets made NBA history by becoming the first team to erase two 3-1 series deficits, Murray played like a superstar against the Utah Jazz, Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers. He put up 26.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 6.6 assists and had two 50-point games.

Even though Denver lost to the Lakers in the Western Conference Finals in five games, Murray still made a name for himself on the NBA's biggest stage and established himself as one of the best young players in the league.

The 2020-21 season will start on Dec. 22. Until then, Murray will have some fun playing with his new PS5.
