With Ricky Rubio out for Game 4, the Utah Jazz are already really short-handed, especially at the point guard position. But now, it's gotten worse.

As Daunte Exum drove to the basket, the Aussie point guard suffered a non-contact leg injury. He tried to stay in the possession and shot a 3-pointer. Once the whistle blew he went straight to the back tunnel and had to be helped into the locker room.

According to the TNT broadcast, Exum has left hamstring soreness and won't return to the game. That's a big blow to a team trying to make a comeback in the series against the top-seeded Houston Rockets.

While Exum is nowhere near the playmaker that Rubio is, his length and quickness make him a solid option for head coach Quin Syner when covering the likes of Chris Paul and James Harden.

This is surely a saddening sight as Exum has never gotten the break that he needed to show to everyone the potential that made him a lottery pick a few years ago. His injuries have piled up in a manner that rivals that of Derrick Rose's medical history.

Exum left the game with nine points on 4-of-6 shooting from the field in 10 minutes of action.
