Despite his busy schedule, Utah Jazz rookie Donovan Mitchell still found time to check on Kristaps Porzingis last week, as the latter continues his recovery after tearing his ACL in early February. To thank him for the nice gesture Mitchell made, the Latvian international sent him a thank you note, but it also included a treat.

The rookie out of Louisville recently took to his Twitter account to give a shoutout to KristapsPorzingis, and showed everyone that his note came together with some Zing Bars, which the All-Star big man is brand ambassador of.

The gesture Porzingis made to thank Donovan Mitchell only goes to show that he is a class act as well. It also gave him a chance to promote a product he believes in. He also wants him to try them, as said in his note, as he could also become someone who will like the product, just like him.

Porzingis underwent surgery last month to repair his knee, and is slated to miss the next six to eight months of action, but could be available once the 2018-19 season starts. He will need to go through extensive rehabilitation to regain his old form though.

Mitchell, on the other hand, continues to play solid basketball for the Jazz, and has made it possible for them to win 21 of their last 23 outings. That has propelled them to fifth place in the Western Conference, and his individual brilliance has resulted in him being one of the favorites to win the Rookie of the Year Award this season.
