Utah Jazz superstar Donovan Mitchell is taking no offseason as the two-time All-Star is looking to extend his range ala Stephen Curry. Over the weekend, the 24-year-old was back in the lab as he works on his long-range game knocking down wild three-pointers from over 40 feet.

Stephen Curry would be proud.

The Jazz star has been on fire from deep. Year on year, the former Slam Dunk champion has been getting better and better with his shooting from outside the arc. Last season, as the Jazz dominated the Western Conference throughout the regular season, Mitchell was shooting at a career-high of 38.6% from deep while knocking down 3.4 threes per game.

Unfortunately, Utah lost steam in the playoffs as they were booted out of the second round after dropping a 2-0 series lead against the Los Angeles Clippers. It also didn't help Mitchell was dealing with an ankle injury during the second round which ended up being a huge blow for the franchise.

Rest assured, Mitchell and the rest of the team are hungry to bounce back this season. If the young Jazz star successfully adds this long-range sniping to his arsenal, guarding him next season would be close to impossible.
