Trae Young and Trevor Ariza got into a heated confrontation in the third quarter of the Atlanta Hawks' 129-117 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday.

The two eventually hugged it out after the game and exchanged pleasantries, but Utah Jazz All-Star Donovan Mitchell noticed how hard Ariza tugged Young when they initially dapped up:

Sacramento Kings big man Harry Giles saw Mitchell's tweet and could not help but laugh at the All-Star guard's reaction:

Mitchell is right, though. That is a pretty rough pull coming from the veteran forward. Definitely not the ideal way to initiate a friendly postgame dap.

The two had the in-game beef after Trae Young attempted to nutmeg Trevor Ariza in midway through the third quarter. Ariza did not appreciate the move that Young put on him. He immediately trucked the Hawks All-Star to the sidelines to prevent any further embarrassment.

The officials eventually called a flagrant foul on the 3-and-D wing. Nonetheless, all is well as the two eventually made up after Atlanta's 129-117 home win.

Maybe Ariza's frustrations just boiled over at that point because the Blazers were getting blown out. It didn't help that the brash 21-year-old sniper hyped up the crowd after the foul, too.

Trae Young led the Hawks to their second straight victory with 25 points and 15 assists. Meanwhile, Ariza finished with just 10 points on 3-of-9 shooting.
