Being without Mitchell, their leading scorer, could be a huge potential blow for the Jazz, who could see fits trying to keep OKC contained enough to outscore them on the road.
The rookie has also proved to be a very effective defender, thanks to his long 7-foot wingspan and cat-like reflexes on the open court, making it a hit on defense as well.
The Jazz suffered a 116-108 loss in Game 1, despite Mitchell's playoff-debut double-double of 27 points and 10 rebounds, leading the team in both stats and giving them a fighting chance against a red-hot Paul George, who went off for 36 points of his own.
Should Mitchell miss any time, Alec Burks, Royce O'Neale, and Dante Exum should get more run with Ricky Rubio getting the majority of minutes at the point guard position.
