It's been a wild offseason for the Utah Jazz as the organization is going through some major changes. The franchise received a haul of draft picks by sending Rudy Gobert to the Denver Nuggets, which gives the front office the tools necessary to reconstruct the roster. Meanwhile, one free agent signing aims to make some noise in the 2022-23 NBA season, as Malik Beasley hopes for a big year.

According to Tony Jones, Beasley is shooting for the stars this year with the Jazz. He has yet to be an All-Star in the league throughout his career but wants to make that happen in Utah. It'll be interesting to see if he can achieve that goal, as he's in a great position to see this goal through.

The Jazz are going to need some of their players to step up with Rudy Gobert out of the picture. Additionally, Donovan Mitchell can't do it all by himself. Malik Beasley can serve as a legitimate scoring option for Utah and will have the chance to prove himself. It's up to him though, as we haven't seen many All-Star performances from the veteran shooting guard.

The 2020-21 season with the Minnesota Timberwolves was the best of his career so far. It was the first time Malik Beasley played starting minutes and he proved to be a reliable scorer during that time. For him to earn an All-Star appearance, Beasley will have to outperform his career-best. That would be an ideal situation for him and the Jazz.
