The Utah Jazz made a massive trade to acquire star point guard Mike Conley from the Memphis Grizzlies. It was a deal that sent Grayson Allen, Jae Crowder, Kyle Korver, and multiple first-round picks to Memphis. What many didn't think about following the trade, was the fact that it meant the end of the Ricky Rubio tenure in Utah.

Rubio is set to hit free agency this offseason and there had been some speculation that he could still look to re-sign with the Jazz. This move guarantees that won't happen.

Following the trade for Conley, Rubio took to his Twitter account to share an obvious reaction to the deal.

At the very least, Rubio will now be able to focus solely on his upcoming free agency. There is no more worrying about what the Jazz are wanting to do at the point guard position. He knows that he will be playing in a new place in the 2019-20 season and it's time to enjoy the process.

One team that has been rumored to have serious interest in Rubio is the Indiana Pacers. It would be an interesting landing spot, but Rubio would be joining a team that has won 48 games each of the last two seasons and have been contenders in the Eastern Conference. Victor Oladipo is coming off of a quad injury, but the two would form a solid back-court duo.

There will be other teams that could use help at the point guard position. Rubio will have plenty of options to choose from. While this news is likely a bit painful, his tweet shows that he knows it's time to move on.
