The Utah Jazz lost to the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday by a score of 114-102. The game was close until the fourth quarter, but the Bucks pulled away and were able to win the game pretty handily.

Afterward, Jazz center Rudy Gobert spoke to the Salt Lake Tribune about the Jazz's drop-off in the last quarter of the game:

“I liked our mindset tonight. We’ve got to be better at the simple things — one-on-one defense, rebounds, and, offensively, keep shooting that ball. We did it for three quarters, 3 1/2 I would say. We’re in a good place.”

At times, the Jazz can struggle on offense. To start off their season, they had difficulty moving the ball and creating a free-flowing offense. Quin Snyder and the front office knew something had to be done, so they decided to add Cleveland Cavaliers sharpshooter Kyle Korver. This added some much-needed floor spacing the Jazz were lacking, even with Joe Ingles.

Utah has been playing better since a slow start. Donovan Mitchell is trying to work his way out of his rookie slump. Rudy Gobert again is playing like a Defensive Player of the Year. Even though the Jazz lost a close one to an elite Bucks squad, they still have played at a level that could make them a top-eight seed in the Western Conference.

The Jazz are now 20-21 on the season and sit at No. 9 in the West. They will face off next against the Orlando Magic at home this upcoming Wednesday.
