Rudy Gobert is fresh off winning his long-awaited Defensive Player of the Year award, but one particular kid in his camp apparently didn't get the memo.

The Stifle Tower didn't wait long to show him to put some respeck on his name by swatting away his layup attempt without any sense of remorse.

Gobert was third in the league in blocks only a year after leading the race, blocking well over two shots per game in 2017-18.

The kid was wearing his jersey, just like every other camper — but that block was likely the very best souvenir he took with him from that session, after the 7-foot-1 center showed no mercy for this kid's life, swatting the ball away like a fly in his vicinity.

Au revoir.
