The Utah Jazz secured an important home victory on Saturday against fellow Western Conference contenders, the San Antonio Spurs.

The Jazz played a great team game throughout the contest, and at one point, the Utah bench was so impressed with the team's unselfish play and ball movement that they went crazy following a a superb display of extra passing:

The Jazz made easy work of the Spurs, as the matchup ended in a 125-105 blowout in favor of the home team. The victory moved up the Jazz to 32-26, and they have now overtaken the Spurs as the sixth seed in the Western Conference.

The duo of Donovan Mitchell (23 points, five rebounds, five assists) and Rudy Gobert (21 points, 13 rebounds, two blocks) led the way yet again for the Jazz. Royce O'Neal also provided a spark off the bench, as the 6-foot-6 wing finished with 17 points on a very efficient 6-of-7 from the floor.

Utah's excellent ball movement was on full display throughout the evening, with the team collectively recording a total of 29 assists against the Spurs' 24. San Antonio head coach Gregg Popovich puts a lot emphasis on this particular aspect of the game, so having outgunned his team in the assists column can only bode well for any opposing team.

The Jazz have been off to a hot start in February, as they have now won three of their last four contests. However, it will be a tough matchup for Utah on Tuesday, as they are slated to face off against the defending champs, the Golden State Warriors, in what will be their final game prior to the All-Star break.
