The New York Jets failed to make the playoffs last season, but many of their fans are looking forward to 2020 with great anticipation. They also have acquired a talent who was beginning to blossom last season in Breshad Perriman. And the man is extremely confident that he can keep the good times rolling for himself and the Jets this season.

According to Pro Football Talk's Josh Alper, Perriman managed to put in a solid season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after unsuccessful spells with the Baltimore Ravens and the Cleveland Browns. After a successful stint in Tampa that saw him finish with a career-high 645 receiving yards and six touchdowns, he lined himself up with the Jets as they hope to make a run for the playoffs.

In his first media session since joining the team, Perriman made the prediction that his 2020 season will be similar to the second half of the previous season. It's important to note that 506 yards and five touchdowns of his season tally were made in the final five games of the season. If he manages to carry over this form into the rest of 2020, he'll be a First-Team All-Pro wideout.

Moreover, his second half of the season runs parallel with the Jets. The Jets only lost two of the last eight games of their season. Now that Tom Brady left their division, the title of the AFC East is more open than ever. The Buffalo Bills are heavy favorites to give the New England Patriots a run for their money, but the Jets should be able to make everyone else sweat bullets.

Of course, talk is cheap until actual snaps are played. However, there's little to no doubt that the Jets will look to make things exciting. And with a red-hot Perriman making catches, they might just be able to do it.
