New York Jets quarterback Mike White led the Jets to a touchdown to take a 7-0 lead against the Cincinnati Bengals.

White took over for an injured Zac Wilson. Wilson was injured in last week's 54-13 loss against the New England Patriots. He suffered a sprain PCL. Luckily for the Jets, it wasn't anything too serious and Wilson should be back soon.

The Jets scored a first-quarter touchdown for the first time all season. They had a 75-yard drive that was capped off with a Mike Carter touchdown. White was seven of seven for 65 yards on the drive. Since his touchdown throw, he's thrown two first-quarter interceptions. Fortunately for White, the defense was able to come up with a stop.

New York has struggled all year and having a backup QB certainly won't help them get any better. White was at least able to finally give them something good in the first quarter. The 1-5 Jets are looking to sneak a win at home against the 5-2 Bengals.

The Jets will likely be 1-6 after this game but at least the offense got going for once. Wilson should be back soon and that's a positive sign. White and the Jets will look to get something going against a good Bengals team.
