Tevin Coleman is entering free agency in a matter of days, and it's been confirmed that the New York Jets are very interested in pursuing him.

According to CBS Sports, the Atlanta Falcons running back is expected to leave the team when he officially goes into free agency, and there was some speculation about whether he would quickly get picked up by a team.

It's good to know that, in fact, Gang Green has definitely expressed an interest.

However, it's not all good news: Tevin Coleman is considered a “Plan B” option for the team — an option that they'll only pursue if they fail to attract the likes of Le'Veon Bell, who is coming into free agency from the Pittsburgh Steelers and is, for all intents and purposes, considered a better option than Coleman.

Remember, too, that the goal is to build up quarterback Sam Darnold, and the only way they can do that is by making sure that Gang Green's offensive lineup is nothing but perfectly on point.

But Tevin Coleman and Le'Veon Bell have other things in common besides the shared interest from the Jets.

“One factor that could come into play is the fact that Bell and Coleman both share the same agent. Last offseason, when the Jets were in search of an experienced quarterback, they moved their sights from Kirk Cousins to eventually re-signing Josh McCown, with both players also sharing the same representation.”

We will definitely keep you apprised of all that goes on.
