The New York Jets have had a busy offseason, making high-profile signings like running back Le'Veon Bell and linebacker C.J. Mosley and making other big additions like wide receiver Jamison Crowder and offensive lineman Kelechi Osemele.

But even with all of the improvements the Jets have made, not many people think they can dethrone the New England Patriots in the AFC East, which is certainly understandable given the Patriots' dominance over the division for the last decade-and-a-half.

However, Jets quarterback Sam Darnold thinks New York actually has a chance of winning the division.

Darnold is coming off of a rookie campaign in which he made 13 starts and threw for 2,865 yards, 17 touchdowns and 15 interceptions while completing 57.7 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 77.6.
While the 22-year-old certainly looked better during the second half of the year, he will certainly have to have a better second season in the league overall for the Jets to really have any shot of beating out the Patriots for the division crown.
Gang Green has not made a playoff appearance since the 2010-11 campaign.
