The New York Jets suffered yet another loss in Week 11, falling prey to the visiting Miami Dolphins, 24-17. If anything, at least the Jets got some praise for one of their best young offensive weapons from Dolphins star cornerback Xavien Howard, per Joey Chandler of NJ.com.

“He’s going to be special in this league,” Howard said. “He’s a smaller guy, quick guy. He made some tough catches out there and I respect his game.”

That speaks volumes as to how big Elijah Moore's ceiling is in the NFL. Moore was taken in the second round by the Jets in the 2021 NFL Draft, the same class the team selected quarterback Zach Wilson, who's not exactly having a memorable first year in the pros.

Meanwhile, Moore has been busy racking up stats. Against the Dolphins, he led the team with 141 receiving yards and a touchdown on eight receptions and 11 targets. The season began with veteran wideout Corey Davis as the Jets' no. 1 wide receiver, but Moore has been impressed enough to become New York's top target downfield. So far this season, Moore leads the Jets with 57 targets while also being second on the team in receiving yards with 415 behind Davis' 477.

Moore can continue adding to his numbers in Week 12 against the Houston Texans on the road.
