There are not a lot of topics today hotter than the debate regarding abortion, especially following the huge decision by the US Supreme Court to flip the landmark Roe v. Wade decision, which lets all states have their own mandates. With the clash of ideologies of pro-abortion and pro-life factions getting more intense, Michigan Wolverines football head coach Jim Harbaugh further made it clear which side he is standing up for.

Harbaugh and wife Sarah recently appeared on stage as speakers at a Plymouth Right to Life occasion, with the Wolverines' head coach expressing his full support for the pro-life movement.

Via Daniel Meloy of the Detroit Catholic:

“In God’s plan, each unborn human truly has a future filled with potential, talent, dreams and love,” Harbaugh said. “I have living proof in my family, my children, and the many thousands that I’ve coached that the unborn are amazing gifts from God to make this world a better place. To me, the right choice is to have the courage to let the unborn be born.”

Jim Harbaugh also shared a glimpse of how he makes sure to convey to his players that standing up for what they believe is never going to be wrong.

“During halftime of a game, talking with the players, I say they are here because they have chosen to be here,” Jim Harbaugh said. “If someone believes in what they stand for, they are choosing to stand for that position, and what kind of person are you if you don’t fight tooth and nail for what you stand for? You get to change hearts by fighting for what you stand for.”
