Shortly after the Philadelphia 76ers obtained the rights to the third pick in the 2017 NBA Draft after opting to swap with the Sacramento Kings per a trade clause from former legendary general manager Sam Hinkie, center Joel Embiid is trusting the process as much as ever.

Despite this not being the No. 1 pick that they had last year, the Sixers have managed to notch four straight years of draft glory, selecting in the top three of each of the last four draft classes.

“Sometimes people don't understand the definition of the process,” Embiid explained to CSN Philly's Jessica Camerato. “The Process is not just about getting over what we've been going through for the past three or four years. I feel like the process is going to keep on going. It's a process to get over that hump. Then it's a process to make the playoffs. Then it's another process to get to the Conference Finals and then another process to get to the Finals and win an NBA championship.”

“It applies to everything in life. We're always going to be trusting the process.”

If you've processed all of that, now you know what the process it all about.

The Sixers have a lot of backing up to do for as much talent that they've racked up during the last few years, and Embiid just wrote a check that he better make sure to cash this upcoming season, after calling out the Cleveland Cavaliers and saying they will decline while announcing Philly is on the rise.

Keep on trusting the process, processors.
