According to ESPN's Marc Stein, the Detroit Pistons have reached an agreement to sign Jon Leuer to a four-year deal worth $42 million dollars.

Last season, Leuer had what was his best season with the Phoenix Suns, averaging 8.5 points and 4.4 rebounds on 48 percent shooting in 19 minutes per game.

Leuer loves to space the floor, and took 110 threes shooting at a 38.2% percent (42-110), and he is a career 37.5% three-point shooter that will continue to operate much of the same with the Pistons.

At age 27, Leuer is a  legit 6'10 forward and a willing passer with a high basketball IQ.

The Pistons will be Leuer's fifth team in six seasons, and it looks like he may have found a home if he can space the floor well enough to keep defenses honest on Andre Drummond in the post.

Leuer's signing indicated that the Pistons gave up on their pursuit of the free agent center Al Horford who revealed that the Pistons were his mystery team to sign on with but ultimately signed with the Boston Celtics today.
