The Seattle Seahawks will visit the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 12. While all eyes will be on the quarterbacks, Josh Gordon will be the main X-factor for the Seahawks against Philadelphia.

Gordon was claimed by Seattle following his release from the New England Patriots before Week 9. The big-play wide receiver made his Seahawks' debut in Week 10 against the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football.

By looking at the box score, Gordon only had two receptions for 27 yards in the game. But both of those receptions came on third-down conversions in the fourth quarter and in overtime.

Over Seattle's bye week in Week 11, the team likely spent some time getting Gordon more acclimated with the offense. Especially with Tyler Lockett still recovering from a leg contusion that caused him to remain in the hospital following the team's win over the 49ers.

In Week 12, Gordon will look to become more involved against an Eagles team that is in a must-win game. Without a doubt, Seattle's offense is predicated on running the ball and controlling the clock with Chris Carson.

This is likely due to the defense being an underwhelming group in every aspect. Nevertheless, the Seahawks should look to take advantage of Philadelphia's weak pass defense on Sunday.

On the surface, the Eagles have the ninth-ranked defense in the NFL in terms of yards allowed. But the obvious strength of Philadelphia's defense is their stout run defense led by Fletcher Cox.

Currently, Philadelphia has contained teams to 86 rushing yards per game (fourth-fewest in the NFL) and only 3.8 yards per attempt (sixth-fewest in the NFL). At the same time, the Eagles boast the 17th ranked pass defense that surrenders 237.5 yards per game.

However, over the past month, Philadelphia has held opposing teams to only 173.5 passing yards per game. Many believe that the secondary has turned a corner. But they haven't faced a quarterback as talented as Russell Wilson in that span.

On Sunday, the Eagles will likely hone in on preventing Lockett from getting into a groove with Wilson. Therefore, Gordon and rookie D.K. Metcalf will be relied upon even more in the aerial attack.

Among those two wide receivers, Gordon understands what it takes to win an important game in November. Following the team's win over San Francisco, Wilson was very complimentary of Gordon and how he performed in crucial moments.

The game between the Seahawks and Eagles could easily come down to a late-game reception. In light of that, there's a chance that Gordon is on the receiving end of a Wilson pass to seal a win for Seattle.
